Wkye 23, Special Olympics National Competition.

Our Mossley CRT Special Olympics Riders did us all proud representing the North West at their National’s in Wyke on September 23rd and 24th.

The North West team of 7 with 6 from Mossley came away with:
6 x Gold Medals / 4 x Silvers / 4 x Bronze / 2 x 4th’s / 2 x 5th’s / 2 x 6th’s / 1 x 8th.

Thanks for the training, passion and determination of the coaches the team got to experience a fabulous event. Faces full of smiles with a hint of gritted teeth as they were climbing the inclines of the Yorkshire track. The weather was kind, we even saw a rare Bradford blue sky on Saturday morning. Thanks to Kiera, Jacqui and Brian Byland, Jun Woodcock, Colin Steen and Liz Birkbeck for coaching / supporting the athletes.
