Annual Mossley CRT Award Dinner 24.

This year, our Annual Dinner was held at the renowned Pinocchio’s restaurant, nestled in the vibrant heart of Ashton under Lyne, conveniently close to the Tameside Cycle circuit. As our members gathered in the inviting upstairs room, it was a joy to see familiar faces, all beaming with smiles – a delightful change from our usual sight of lycra-clad figures and crash helmets. Among us were seasoned veterans of the cycling world alongside our youthful enthusiasts, adding a dynamic energy to the atmosphere.

Months of meticulous planning culminated in a spectacular awards table, radiating magnificence and grandeur, promising an evening filled with celebration and camaraderie.

With Martin, our esteemed chairman, setting the stage with a heartfelt welcome, the atmosphere brimmed with anticipation. Brian followed suit, exuding enthusiasm and charm as he presented the awards. Starting with the Go Riders category and seamlessly transitioning to recognise achievements in the development sessions, racing, endurance, as well as the invaluable contributions of our volunteers and committee members, Brian's spirited delivery added an extra layer of excitement to the evening.

Congratulations to all our deserving winners! It's truly inspiring to witness your progress, and we eagerly anticipate many more exhilarating rides, whether on the Tameside circuit or during our social outings to Cheshire. As we kick off the season with fervor, the stakes are clear, and the challenge ahead is met with a sense of invigoration. Let's rally together and strive for our personal bests, knowing that the road ahead is paved with opportunity and lots of laughs.
