SOGB at the UEC European Road Cycling Championships 15th Sept.

A few weeks ago one of our superstar Limitless riders - James Huntington took part in the UEC European Road Cycle Championships Along with other team mates - Sophie, BenFai, and Ella they were selected to represent team GB on the professional European stage on the official course of the elite mens race on the final day of the UEC road cycling championship in Limburg Flanders Belgium.

They are ground breaking athletes, the first with an intellectual disability to race in front of this mainstream audience at this mainstream cycling championship.

They will be racing against 50 other learning disabled cyclists from across Europe.

James is racing 15km, Sophie 10km, BenFai 5km and Ella 5km.

They all trained hard since the Special Olympics World Games in 2023 and took Belgium by storm coming home with various medals. James came 3rd and took Bronze, we are over the moon for him. Great job James …
