Milena - Special Olympics World Games athlete.

Milena is a teen who has been enjoying cycling for many years now and joined Mossley CRT in the Summer of 2022. During good weather, she is often found riding the Fallowfield Loop with with her mum. They usually cycle from Stockport all the way to Sale Water Park for some bird spotting, Milena's other big passion. She also rides the development sessions with Mossley CRT but her favourite part of cycling are the cake stops during rides out and about!

Milena does have autism and learning difficulties but that has not stopped her. Far from it: She won two gold medals during the Special Olympics Summer of Sport national competition last July and now has been selected to represent Team GB at the upcoming Special Olympics/World Games in June 2023 in Berlin in the cycle competition. Amazing! Go Milena, we’ll all be cheering you on.
