Social Ride Prestatyn to Conwy 19

Prestatyn Beach Huts - Ride out starting point.

In 2019, we set off on a ride out with the Mossley crew, only just buying a bike a few days before. A collection of riders turned up, some young, some older, mixed abilities with the guidance of the experienced coaches. I was a complete novice, just tagging on for the ride and looking to get my daughter more involved in cycling and the equality, diversity of Mossley CRT.

We were given a warm welcome and got stuck in. Riding on an accessible flat coastal path, no cars or traffic, perfectly safe. We were able to take in the scenic views, meet other members and enjoy the day out. We finished up covering around 30k - feeling a huge sense of achievement. My daughter 11, at the time, this was the furthest she’d ever ridden.
