The Kings Coronation 6th May 23. Kiera invited to Westminster Abbey.

We were all stunned when Kiera shared with us that she’d be invited to The Kings Coronation at Westminster Abbey, even the invitation looked regal. What a day and an honour this was going to be. She opted to take her mum, a fabulously wonderous experience for them both. Brian at the other end of the scale viewed the proceedings at a local London pub with a pint in hand.

“I was so lucky and honoured to be invited to the Kings Coronation on the 6th of May 2023. An amazing historical event creating many unbelievable memories. We met so many wonderful and inspiring people in their own right, each one handpicked to be part of the audience. I had the opportunity to see the Royal Family members at close quarters, such a privilege and a moment I’ll never forget. Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined I’d be on the Kings guest list.

I hope that me going to the Coronation yesterday set a real example (even though I have a learning disability) of what can be achieved, beyond my dreams and goals. I genuinely feel I’m a positive role model for the next generation. This is another landmark moment to help make the world a more inclusive place for all. “
